What is it?

  • Thistle is a Scottish charity supporting people with long-term health conditions and disabilities to live life on their terms. It operates in Midlothian as the Midlothian Wellbeing Service.

Who is it for?

  • Anyone living with a long-term health condition or facing a challenging life situation.

What do they offer?

  • One-to-one wellbeing coaching
  • Group-based lifestyle management courses
  • Group-based mindfulness courses
  • Neurological Wellbeing Pathway for those with a neurological health condition who require wellbeing support.

How can people access it?

  • People can ask to be referred by their GP or another health professional (including us)
